We have continued to be very busy here at the Butte Literacy Program!!
Since our April Update we have enrolled 10 more students.
We have had 13 student graduates since January!!
Anyone looking to volunteer as a tutor for our program is welcome to call 406-723-7905 to make an appointment with me, Margie Willhite. My office hours are (generally) 10 am to 2 pm. There are times when I am away from the office for meetings. If you come to the office and I am not there, please call the Butte Literacy Program phone number.
We would love to have you join us as a Volunteer or Tutor!!
We, at the Butte Literacy Program, are so thankful to SARTA, (Butte-Silver Bow Superfund Advisory and Redevelopment Trust Authority) for the grant for $5000!!
We are working to utilize the funding to purchase student/tutor materials and supplies, to pay for test registration and proctor fees during 2026. Thank you to Julia Crain and the SARTA Board for awarding our program with the generous grant!!
