September and October were so busy it is unbelievable!
- We added 9 new students and
- We added 10 new tutors.
- The Gianforte Family Foundation awarded us a new grant for 2023-2024:
$2500 in outright funding and a commitment for up to $7500 in matching
funds for money raised in the community.
Needless to say, we are working hard to raise that $7,500! We began on September 20 with Pint Night at the Butte Brewing Company. Between the efforts of many beer drinkers and a silent auction and donations, we earned over $1,000. We have sent out a letter to those who have supported our program in the past requesting financial support and the contributions are already starting to come in. Thanks to the matching funds, all donations are doubled: $5.00 becomes $10, $10 becomes, $20, and so on. As of today, we have received nearly $3,000 in donations.
Please help us raise the money so we can continue to help Butte-Silver Bow adults who want to take that first step toward a brighter future by earning their high school equivalency diplomas.
